On Friday 9th November, the Coverdrone team attended the very first Drone Safe Register’s business meeting at Harleyford Golf Club in Buckinghamshire.
Drone Safe Register (DSR) is partnered with Coverdrone to offer their members discount for our insurance product. DSR provides a national, searchable database containing the contact details and profiles of trained, qualified and insured drone pilots within the UK.
The morning consisted of various presentations taking place from DSR and their partnered companies such as Jessops, Qlaims and of course Coverdrone to over 100 DSR members. The RAF were also in attendance, describing the effect that drone operations have on the RAF and low flying.
During the afternoon, workshops were then held in relation to various aspects of drone operations such as health, safety and risk assessments, aerial cinematography, aerial photography and also a drone hands on with Jessops.
The business meeting was a fantastic opportunity for our team to network with DSR members and discuss our policies and the service that we can provide. Throughout the day, operators were also able to share their top tips with each other in regards to drone operations and the industry.
